PortaCount Respirator Fit Tester Request Form

The PortaCount fit tester program is intended to support Montana public health, and healthcare partners to test the N95 disposable particulate respirator.  If you have any questions please contact the POC below.

How it works:

This is a loan of the PortaCount equipment and testing supplies only.  PHEP/HPP WILL NOT conduct the fit testing or provide N95 respirators.

Once we receive your request you will get an email confirming your request and a timeline on when a PortaCount will be available.  If you have used the PortaCount before and are comfortable with the operation we will send a machine to you through the US Postal Service.  DO NOT throw the shipping box away, you will need it to return the PortaCount.  If you haven't used the PortaCount before and need training, a date will be scheduled to deliver the PortaCount and train personnel on its use at your organization.  Once you receive the machine you will have 3 weeks to conduct your testing.  If you need more time that can also be arranged.  If you are a large organization and are testing 300+ we can also try to get you 2 machines at the same time if available.  After you have completed your testing you will contact the POC below to get a return shipping label.  Remove the old shipping and hazard labels, place the return shipping label on the box, and drop off with the US Postal Service.

The requesting organization is responsible for the PortaCount Respirator Fit Tester while it is in your facility.  Any damage or loss to the equipment will be charged to the using organization.
